Let’s bring back pen pals with this club!

Rather than a new constant commitment, this club is here to help facilitate matching people based on interests, so you can move away from memberships. Privacy is maintained through mail forwarding, so you never have to share more than you wish with the people you’re talking to. Each membership starts with a letter from me containing stationery and the initial info on the pen pal you’ve been matched with.

This club uses a PO Box and mail forwarding. Here’s how this works: everyone will be assigned a member code when they sign up. When you send mail, you will write in your member code at the return address (along with the PO Box address) and the member code of your pen pal with the same PO Box address as the receiver. All mail will come through this club’s PO Box and will then be put into a new envelope (still sealed) and addressed to the recipient. This way, everyone’s addresses remain private for as long as you want to use this club to exchange mail.

FAQs

When will I receive my letter?

Letters are mailed promptly on the first of each month. You should receive yours within 2-5 days if you are a US resident.

How long is each letter?

Every letter is at least two pages, front and back. The full story, across the 12 months, is akin to a novella.

What will I receive each month?

Every month's letter includes a couple of pages of the story, a postcard, sticker(s) and something directly taken from the story. Other elements will change month to month, but you can expect artworks, bookmarks, recipes, and more.

Each month's items are designed and created by Three Hands Mail Club to fit and elevate the story.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! International shipping has been added to the checkout options. We are excited for readers the world over to enjoy these stories.
